Ready for a change from the old blog & now trying to figure out wordpress without spending much time doing that!  Well, it will unfold as it does.  

Just a few photos from the family’s week…  Joel & I have been talking a lot of house design, we know what we want but we are open to new ideas too & decided to hire a local architect to consult with and make our ideas really happen.  Meet with him in a few days at the land, fingers crossed we jive.

I was spinning some of the raw flax my boy processed last summer.  I am knitting a bird’s nest for spring.

Saving avocado skins & pits for a dye bath.  Organic avocadoes 80 cents in Slocan!  Yes!  Not like Mexico but better than most places around here.

All my boys have gone nuts for sk8boarding.  It is a quick walk to the sk8 park from our new property.  Whenever we go there the big boys take off & are gone skating til we leave.  Papa usually ends up there too & he is super stiff as those old muscles wake up.

Today we noticed the swallows are back.  The snow is almost gone.  Gearing up for a great gardening year.
