Little Atti has started riding lessons at a nearby farm, the Icelandic horses are amazing.  I think the horses are just what he needs to learn to be calm in his body.

The boys have been keeping busy on skateboards & bikes while we spend hours of each day working on our newly freed up garden space.  I think it will be a lovely garden, very forest gardening and permaculture based.

Last evening Atti opened up the gate on the trailer we attach to our car to haul our stuff around (instead of having a truck).  I find it hard enough to open & the gate is so heavy… well he got it open, trying to get out his bike, and the gate fell on him.  He’s ok now but bled a lot.  I took some photos because he wanted to see his wounds.

hoping for a safe week.

A nature walk with the homeschool group, first stopping to visit some horses, then heading out with binoculars & notepads, observing nature.
It is SO beautiful here…

A beautiful day shared with friends.

The leaves are bursting on the trees… the spring air is of rich, sweet poplar…

fill half a quart jar with freshly picked dandelion flowers, add warm water and a juice of a few lemons to fill, let sit four hours, strain & add stevia or honey to taste.

I let all my orach go to seed for the past couple of years & now it is like a cover crop over my whole garden, we are eating thinnings in every meal & I am adding them to my fermented vegetables.  Hopefully this is ok as I assume it is high in oxalates.

Western toad lives in the greenhouse, he/she is so tiny.

This picture looks disgusting, my smoothie before shaking it up.  I’ve been making goat milk yogurt since I can’t find kefir grains, and goat yogurt is runny.  So, the goat yogurt in a jar, add stevia, a tsp spirilina, tsp vanilla, dash cinnamon, and I’ve opening up capsules of probiotics & digestive enzymes to give an extra little blast of goodness.  Shake it & drink up!
